DESCRIPTION:The Museum of Tübingen University holds a rich collection of historical instruments\, including some important horns ; one of them is nothing less but the second double horn ever made in history by Kruspe. On March 27th\, I will hold a lecture-concert in the Museum together with pianofortist Anders Muskens\, during which I will present the horns from the collection\, explain the development of the valve leading up to the invention of the double horn\, and play some music on horns from my own collection that are connected to those from the Museum.
