DESCRIPTION:I have had the pleasure of being invited for a presentation during an international conference taking place in the Grassi Museum of Leipzig\, celebrating the anniversary of Paul de Wit\, a pioneer in the Early Music movement in the 19th century. The topics of this conference are : the role of instrumental collections in the early stages of the Early Music movement\, and the introduction of standard pitch.
