DESCRIPTION:Fri January 19\, 2024\, 8 p.m.Sat January 20\, 2024\, 8 p.m.Sun January 21\, 2024\, 11 a.m \n\n\n\nThere was applause and great storms of enthusiasm for the “Paris Symphony” at its premiere in the French capital in 1778 – no wonder: Mozart had done everything he could to precisely meet the audience’s taste with surprise effects and carefully placed stylistic devices. Finely differentiated brass voices and divided strings ensure particularly rich timbres – just like in the symphonies KV 319 and KV 338. They were created following the trip to Paris and Salzburg and summarize the impressions of the tour. A real feast for the ears in these 3 concerts\, in the Mozart series of Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen !

DESCRIPTION:I will have the privilege of joining La Petite Bande and Sigiswald Kuijken for 3 concerts of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte for reduced orchestra in Blaibach ! \n\n\n\n⟹ August 30th\, 6pm ; August 31st\, 6pm\, September 1st\, 11am. \n\n\n\n“An incredible farce\, a philosophical fable about love\, a romantic and hopeless tragicomedy – all of this is combined in “Così fan tutte”\, the stroke of genius of the two theater magicians Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Lorenzo da Ponte. \n\n\n\nIn the concert hall\, the opera is presented by La Petite Bande\, one of the pioneering ensembles of historically informed performance practice. The musical quality of the singers and instrumentalists is combined with magnificent costumes and an intense style of acting that draws on the theatrical body language of the 18th century. Musical and visual aspects are thus brought together in a harmonious unity and give free rein to the liveliness of this wonderful comedy. \n\n\n\nIn accordance with the practice at the time of its creation\, Sigiswald Kuijken adapted the score\, which is one of the most brilliant works Mozart ever created\, for a chamber ensemble consisting of a string quintet with double bass\, two horns and harpsichord.”

DESCRIPTION:I will have the privilege of joining La Petite Bande and Sigiswald Kuijken for 3 concerts of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte for reduced orchestra in Blaibach ! \n\n\n\n⟹ August 30th\, 6pm ; August 31st\, 6pm\, September 1st\, 11am. \n\n\n\n“An incredible farce\, a philosophical fable about love\, a romantic and hopeless tragicomedy – all of this is combined in “Così fan tutte”\, the stroke of genius of the two theater magicians Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Lorenzo da Ponte. \n\n\n\nIn the concert hall\, the opera is presented by La Petite Bande\, one of the pioneering ensembles of historically informed performance practice. The musical quality of the singers and instrumentalists is combined with magnificent costumes and an intense style of acting that draws on the theatrical body language of the 18th century. Musical and visual aspects are thus brought together in a harmonious unity and give free rein to the liveliness of this wonderful comedy. \n\n\n\nIn accordance with the practice at the time of its creation\, Sigiswald Kuijken adapted the score\, which is one of the most brilliant works Mozart ever created\, for a chamber ensemble consisting of a string quintet with double bass\, two horns and harpsichord.”
