I am delighted to introduce you to our new historically informed romantic orchestra : PastForward Ensemble ! 19th-century romantic music like you have never heard it before : organic, wild, unpredictable, and freed from all and any modern dogmas. Brahms, Schubert, Debussy and more… Reborn.

The Ensemble feels more like a phenomenon than an ensemble: a group of musicians who quite nearly spontaneously have come together to exploit the ever-expanding knowledge of 19th-century music, and turn it into unbridled expression…to just go for it, all the way. Because the music is worth it, because life’s too short for the halfway house.

We will be giving our first concert at the ZAMUS Festival of Cologne !
